Partner-patients

Information about fertility treatment often focuses on patients who undergo the physical procedures. However, partners are an integral part of the fertility journey and experience their own emotional, practical, and medical challenges. Many of these experiences are shared with the patient, but some will be unique to them in their role.

It is important to recognise that partners are also patients in the fertility journey. We use the term partner-patients to highlight their distinct role.

You can read more about the medical aspects of IVF treatment in our Guides section.
